Our Story
It all started in 1999 when a group of Canadian expats brought their sticks to a parking lot and ignited a passion that would grow into something extraordinary. What began as casual pick-up games quickly evolved into a thriving community of players who couldn't get enough of the sport.
By 2006, the BBHL was officially formalized and recognized by the International Street & Ball Hockey Federation as the governing body of ball hockey in Barbados. Over two decades later, we're still bringing the intensity, skill, and camaraderie that made those early games so special.

OUR MOTTO
'Play with honour!' isn't just our motto—it's the heartbeat of everything we do. At BBHL, we've built a league where fierce competition meets unwavering respect. We play hard, we play smart, and above all, we play fair.
Every player who steps onto our court embodies the values of sportsmanship, integrity, and pure passion for the game. Whether you're scoring the winning goal or cheering from the sidelines, you're part of a community that celebrates the true spirit of ball hockey.
