Our Story
It all started in 1999 when a group of Canadian expats brought their sticks to a parking lot in Barbados and ignited a passion that would grow into something extraordinary. What began as casual pick-up games quickly evolved into a thriving community of players who couldn't get enough of ball hockey in the Caribbean.
By 2006, the BBHL was officially formalized and recognized by the International Street & Ball Hockey Federation as the governing body of ball hockey in Barbados. Over two decades later, we're still bringing the intensity, skill, and camaraderie that made those early games so special—welcoming players from Canada, the US, Europe, and beyond.
